| ... For big jobs. Depending on paint hardness. I also use wolfgang/menzerna, lake country pads. Sure gets expensive really fast. But the pain is temporary, pride in your abilities and flawless paint is forever! Overall, there is a LOT to learn. I use a flex personally, love it. Porter cable is good for the average hobbyist. Wet sanded, and then 3-stage cut and buffed the Z, It is flat and perfect with almost no scratches/swirls after many washes a year later, keep it sealed/waxed and all I have to do now is a very minor glazing/polish every few years. Crappy pics, but went from fully matte wetsand to deep definition, the pixelation in the finished picture is the pearl effect.
Yellow, for what it's worth, is easy to polish, but in the right lighting angles with an IPA wipedown you can see any tracers or holograms you need to get out. That's the real challenge!

It's a freakin' addiction I tell you. Just picked up a Dewalt rotary polisher too (at least my nice tools should last a lifetime, unlike polish, and pads). And I am going to do my full 20'+ Aluminum hardtop boat.
It's going to SUCK hahaha
